With a postgraduate Master’s in Labor Law & Human Resources from the University of Toulon, Guy Alfosea began his career with the law firm Turquin-Merle & Associés in 1992, seeing it merge in 1997 with Mazars & Associés.

In 1998, he was named partner and was selected to head Mazars & Associés’ Labor Law department in Paris, and held those positions there until 2005.

He took part in creating La Garanderie Avocats in 2006.

With 30 years of experience, Guy regularly oversees various complex issues regarding collective relations. He is also highly skilled in matters related to employee profit-sharing, incentive plans, savings plans & employee share ownership, as well as healthcare, health insurance and retirement policies.

With expertise in a wide range of cross-cutting areas of labor law, he is one of the firm’s most experienced and versatile lawyers in providing legal counseling to companies on the subject of social transition in the workplace.
 
Guy Alfosea heads the firm’s department on "Compensation & Benefits Policies" and participates in the meetings and discussions of the "Social Dialogue & Collective Employer-Employee Relations" department.

He regularly participates in inter- and intra-enterprise focus groups and professional training sessions conducted with clients as well as with the Paris Bar Association (EFB School of Professional Training, Campus, Commission on Labor Law) and is a lecturer within the master’s degree program at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne on Law on Job Protection Plans, as well as on other subjects bridging his legal practice and his various areas of engagement.
 
In addition to his activities as a lawyer, Guy Alfosea is a founding member of the organization for human resources actors, Mouvement Génération RH (Groupe RH&M). He is also a member of l’Institut du Travail et du Management Durable (“ITMD”)/Sustainable Work and Management Institute (SWMI), a collegial style organization bringing together business leaders, trade unionists, researchers, consultants, and institutional partners.
He also participated in the Drafting Committee for the Charter of Self-employed Legal Practitioners admitted to the Paris Bar.

Guy Alfosea is particularly interested in photography, vintage and antique cars, and scuba diving.
