With a postgraduate Master’s in Law and Practice of Labor Relations from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Justine Godey was admitted to the bar in February 2005 before beginning her career at the law firm Ginestié Magellan Paley-Vincent.

She joined La Garanderie Avocats at the time of its creation.

After obtaining a specialty certification in Labor Law, Justine set as her objective to advise business clients on a wide array of employment and labor law ’matters because she was convinced that a transversal and customized approach to such issues is crucial to providing comprehensive, pertinent, and pragmatic legal solutions.

With more than fifteen years of experience, Justine has had the opportunity to work on important collective cases, providing legal advice or litigation representation, notably on matters relating to organizational elections, job protection or restructuring plans. She has also developed special knowledge and skills in international mobility and social audits, these being areas in which her mastery of the English language has enabled her to provide legal guidance for French and international clients.

Within the firm, Justine Godey participates in a number of departments including "Health and Healthcare," "Social Dialogue & Collective Employer-Employee Relations" and "Work Organization and Employee Well-Being." She regularly oversees inter and intra-enterprises training sessions dealing with technical, legal and operational aspects of employment and labor law issues, including occupational health and healthcare, as well as the prevention of harassment and discrimination; and she is actively involved in writing articles and creating accompanying computer graphics, to discuss timely topics and trends in her area of specialty.

Being of a naturally curious nature, Justine broadens her knowledge of legal practices in foreign countries by travelling extensively, especially to neighboring European nations, as a way of developing her expertise in international mobility and comparative law.

Outside of her work life, she also devotes time to working with a not-for-profit educational association.
