After obtaining a Master’s in Economic Law from Sciences-Po, Louis Cressent was admitted to the bar in December 2021. Initially specializing in corporate litigation, Louis joined our firm with a view to striking a balance between Business Law and Labor Law. This led to his handling issues relating to the removal of officers or directors and the dismissal of management, corporate governance, and compliance executives, as well as insolvency proceedings.
Louis Cressent did a number of internships in companies and at law firms. Two of them were at La Garanderie Avocats, which cemented his great interest in Labor Law. Louis also worked for the in-house legal department at Amazon as well as for the law firms Orpa Legal and Cohen Amir-Aslani.
Through this varied work experience, he was able to develop a solid mastery of litigation, in regard to both business law and social law disputes, and issues related to the management of personal data.
With an unfailing curiosity, Louis Cressent is able to draw upon seemingly boundless energy to explore the legal and human issues that he faces and find the most apt solution.
That explains why, within the firm, he participates in the meetings and discussions of the "Social Dialogue & Collective Bargaining," "Ethics & Compliance Issues" and "Human Rights & Freedoms" departments.
Outside his professional activities, Louis Cressent loves to find escape in sports, music and cooking.
He also did a very capable job in organizing the firm-wide weekend event held in March 2022, in Riga, Latvia.
